We Build Financial Confidence Through Education

Real learning from people who understand Australian business

Back in 2019, we noticed something. Small business owners kept making the same budget mistakes. Not because they lacked intelligence, but because nobody taught them the practical stuff that actually matters when you're running a business day-to-day.

Financial planning workspace with business documents and analysis

Started From Frustration

Our founder, Petra Lindqvist, spent years watching capable business owners struggle with budgets. She'd see them launch with passion and solid ideas, then hit financial walls that could've been avoided with better planning tools.

The problem wasn't a lack of information out there. It was too much generic advice that didn't fit the reality of running a small operation in Australia. Tax considerations here are different. Cash flow challenges are specific. And most educational content ignored these practical details.

So we built something different. Programs that focus on what you actually need to know, taught by people who've dealt with these exact challenges in Australian businesses.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't just words on a wall. They're the framework we use when designing every course and writing every lesson.

01

Practical First

Theory matters, but only when it connects to real scenarios you'll face. Our content focuses on application over academic concepts. You learn by working through actual budget situations.

02

Honest About Limits

We can't promise business success or financial breakthroughs. What we offer is solid education that gives you better tools for making informed decisions. The rest depends on your specific situation and effort.

03

Australian Context

GST implications, BAS requirements, superannuation considerations—these details matter. We build our curriculum around the actual regulatory and financial environment you work in.

Real People Teaching Real Skills

Our instructors come from varied backgrounds—former small business owners, accountants who specialized in startups, financial advisors who got tired of seeing the same preventable mistakes. What they share is practical experience and the ability to explain complex topics without jargon.

When you join our programs starting in autumn 2025, you're not getting lectures from academics who've never managed a business budget. You're learning from people like Rónán Callahan and Sibylla Thorsen, who've walked through the same challenges you're facing.

We keep class sizes manageable because feedback matters. You should be able to ask questions about your specific situation and get responses that actually help.

Where We're Headed

We've taught over 400 business owners since 2020. The feedback shapes how we evolve. Some wanted more focus on forecasting. Others needed deeper content on managing seasonal cash flow variations. We listen and adjust.

Our 2025 programs reflect these learnings. We've added modules on digital payment systems and their budget impact. There's new content on managing contractor costs versus employees. And we've expanded the section on building financial buffers that actually work for small operations.

If you're interested in what we're building, reach out. We're always happy to talk about what we do and whether it might fit what you need. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just honest conversation about financial education for business.
